Capitol Hill Pride Festival The largest Pride Street Festival in the Norhwest
Asia was established by Charlette LeFevre under the
NW Museum of Legends and Lore
in April of 2012 as an
Pride events in the Northwest.
Inspired by a painting Director Charlette LeFevre saw in the
International District of Civil Rights Leader Carlos Bulosan who fought
for equality. Charlette LeFevre is half Japanese.
first annual event in 2012 was permitted with the City of Seattle in
Hing Hay Park by the Northwest Museum of Legends and Lore which
founded and directs the Capitol Hill Pride Festival since 2009 in
Seattle and other Northwest events.
